Lighting exports frustrated more than 1.6 million fluorescent lamps or need to be recalled
On July 15, 2015, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Health Canada and Cooper Lighting jointly announced a voluntary recall of fluorescent lamps made in China.
The recalled product name is a fluorescent lamp, ranging in size from 18 inches (0.4572 meters) to 4 feet (1.2192 meters). Its products were on July 1, 2011 (code 18211) to March 31, 2015 and ( Between 09015), the product model is DLE217RLP, DLE217RLPB, DLE 232RLP, DLE232RLPB, SL232R, SL232R/1, SL232RPC, SL232RTP, SLNR232R, SLNR232R/1, SLNR232RCHR, SLW232R, SLW232R/1, SNF115R, SNF117R, SNF125R, SNF217R, SSF217R, WP217R, WP217RNKLLU, WP232R, WP232RLU, WP232RNKL, WP232RNKLLU, WP232RNKLRL. The product was sold in stores from Ace Hardware, Lowe's, Menards, USA from July 2011 to April 2015 and priced at approximately $13-67.
The recalled products are sold in the United States at approximately 1620000 baht and in Canada at approximately 27,000 baht. Reason for recall: The socket may be hot, arcing or melting, and there is a risk of fire. Up to now, the company has received 7 cases of overheating, melting or arcing accidents, but no casualties.
