Ao Liang and ASTRI launch cooperation to promote LED lighting products
On August 5th, 2010, LED lighting solutions supplier Hong Kong Olympic Lighting International (Ao Liangliang) successfully developed Super Star LED lighting products to lead Hong Kong into a new era of lighting. This technological breakthrough is the result of close cooperation between Ao Liang and the Hong Kong Institute of Applied Science and Technology (ASTRI).
Ao Liang has combined his scientific knowledge with ASTRI's US patent "birdcage" lamp housing technology (US 7,701,055) to create Super Star MR16 LED lights. The "bird cage" design can improve the heat dissipation capability of the lamp body through the uninterrupted passage of airflow. This unique "birdcage" design allows the MR16 LED to achieve uniform heat dissipation under different installations, ensuring even distribution of light. Through the excellent thermal management, the "birdcage" lamp housing helps to improve the performance and life of the lamp. Super Star MR16 LED lights are the best choice to replace most of the traditional MR16 lamps, and can be used in a variety of different indoor environments, including shop windows, elevators, home-focused lighting, etc.

The Super Star MR16 LED has a power of 4W and a luminous efficacy of 40lm/W. It can be retrofitted with a 12V AC-DC power supply for most MR16 luminaires. There are two models, 13100508AA and 13100608AA, which are warm white light (2800K) and cool white light (6000K). The luminous flux corresponds to 180lm and 200lm, and the power is 3.5W and 5W respectively. The color rendering index reached 80.
