ICS-8580 supports analog input such as HD / ED / SD, analog RGB formats such as VGA to UXGA, digital input formats such as 3G-SDI, DVI, and HDMI, with a maximum resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 or 1,600 x 1,200 pixels. An Altera® Arria® II GX FPGA combined with TI DSP signal processing provides powerful computing power on the video XMC platform.

Two TI TMS320DM6467 DSPs provide dual-channel video encoding capability up to 1080p H.264 (or JPEG 2000), and up to four SD input data can be compressed in parallel. The encoded data stream can be read via PCI Express â„¢ or directly output as a Gigabit Ethernet RTP / UDP packet.

High-speed A / D equipment: Supports up to 1,600 x 1,200 resolution for image format input and 1,920 x 1,080 resolution for HD video input, enabling digital input of multiple supported analog video formats. FPGA controls data capture, routing and can be applied in a variety of ways, while TI DSP coprocessor provides efficient and smooth video data processing. If customer needs, FPGA and DSP can be customized so that it can provide multiple video processing functions in the video input stream.
