In the first quarter, sales of notebook computers in Europe fell by 5.8%, and desktop sales decreased by 9.3%. However, compared with these two products, the decline in netbooks is even greater. Compared with the same period of last year, netbook sales fell by one-third.

The demand from enterprise users is still relatively stable, but the lack of demand from ordinary consumer users has led to a huge drop in netbook sales. According to statistics, in the first quarter, the number of European users interested in ordinary PCs dropped by an average of 16.5%. However, looking at the United Kingdom alone, this number has dropped by 27.5%.

The situation in France and Germany is still relatively optimistic, with a year-on-year increase of 1.5% and 12.5% ​​respectively.
