German epitaxial film company Azzurro will set up an Asian office in Taipei
[High-tech LED] German GaN-on-Si manufacturer Azzurro decided to set up an Asian regional office in Taipei, Taiwan, to supply Azzurro's GaN-on-Si technology products to customers in China, Japan and South Korea. Expand the market share in Asia.
Erwin Ysewijn, deputy director of sales and marketing at Azzurro, said that the Asia office will enable them to better understand and solve customer questions, and establish an experienced team in different language environments and time zones to solve customer problems.
Azzurro is a manufacturer of high quality silicon substrate GaN epitaxial wafers. Azzurro can produce 150mm (200mm in the near future) anti-fracture low-bend chips. Azzurro said that the recent mass production of chips will push the LED industry into a new era of high efficiency and low cost.
