University of Florida develops low-cost LED manufacturing process
[High-tech LED News] It is reported that the University of Florida has developed a LED manufacturing process using low-cost quantum dot technology.
In the development of this process, they combine the two technologies of OLED illumination and quantum dots to create a high-performance hybrid of organic and quantum dot layers, while the patented device structure allows the entire production process to use rotation. Coating does not require vacuum coating, which also helps to reduce costs.
