At present, Huizhou Zhongkai High-tech Zone has issued the “Preferential Policy for the Promotion of Strategic Emerging Industries in Huizhou Zhongkai High-tech Zoneâ€, and in addition to continuing to increase the technical cooperation and research and development of LED products, the cooperation between Zhongkai High-tech Zone and Taiwan will continue. In the key lighting areas in the region, LED energy-saving renovation is promoted. To this end, the district also specially formulated the “2010 Huizhou Zhongkai High-tech Zone High-efficiency Lighting Product Promotion and Implementation Work Planâ€, requiring all district governments to invest in the construction of new projects, including new roads and buildings. All the offices use LED lighting, and actively promote enterprises, towns (streets), community pairs, promote and apply LED lighting products in public lighting and commercial lighting in the district.
According to reports, Zhongkai High-tech Zone also plans to cooperate with Contract Energy Management Company (EMC) to use certain policies to guide the use of LED lighting in shopping malls and factories with large lighting products. It is expected that by 2011, a number of shopping malls, one factory and one residential area will be completed. The LED demonstration project of the “Road†project fully promoted LED lighting in the high-tech zone through government subsidies in 2012. In 2015, the high-tech zone fully used LED lighting.
