However, recently, people familiar with the matter said that the popular new technology under the Sony brand is actually from South Korea's LG Display. At present, there are only two Korean companies that produce OLED screens: Samsung and LG. However, Samsung focuses on small-size OLED screens, and only LG has the ability to mass-produce large-size OLED screens. As we all know, Sony no longer produces panels, so the OLED panel of this TV is also from LG. This means that not only this screen, but also the AcousTIc Surface technology should come from LG, but it was replaced by a name re-branded by Sony.
However, LG Display did not publicly confirm that they are suppliers of Sony OLED TV screen sound technology, only that its Crystal Sound OLED audio solution already has customers. In fact, although the two core technologies of this TV are provided by LG, this does not mean that Sony's OLED TV will perform worse than LG.
In fact, as the earliest color TV giants that laid out OLEDs, Sony has a deep technical accumulation in color display, and audio products are also one of Sony's strengths. Of course, Sony's use of this excellent technology for OEM is understandable, because in order to make a high-quality OLED TV hot for a long time, there is still a lot of design and engineering technology behind it.
