**Fabric Frictional Charge Tester Operation and Precautions**
The following instructions and safety precautions for the fabric frictional charge tester are provided by Standard Group (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., a well-known brand both domestically and internationally. As many of their products are imported, they have surpassed many globally recognized brands.

**Step-by-Step Instructions:**
1. Insert the power plug of the roller friction machine into a grounded power socket.
2. Turn on the power switch of the roller friction machine and set the test duration to 15 minutes.
3. Place the sample into the roller friction machine. The machine will stop automatically after 15 minutes.
4. Connect one end of the special connection cable from the electrostatic potentiometer to the input port of the charge tester, and the other end to the outer cylinder socket of the Faraday cage.
5. Turn on the power of the charge tester by switching it to the "1" position.
6. Press the “Clear†button to reset the charge gauge to zero.
7. After the roller friction machine stops, use an insulating rod or wear gloves with an insulation resistance of at least 10^12 Ω to remove the sample from the machine. Immediately place the sample inside the Faraday cage. Ensure that the sample is kept more than 300 mm away from any conductive objects, such as your body or metal surfaces.
8. Read the electrostatic charge value displayed on the tester in microcoulombs (μC).
9. Repeat the test five times. Allow a 10-minute interval between each test. Before each test, immerse the sample and the drum in a de-energizing solution.
10. Calculate the average of the five readings. If the charge is less than 0.6 μC, the sample meets the requirements of Class B specified in GB12014-2009 for anti-static clothing.
11. After completing the test, turn off the power switch and unplug the power cord.

**Important Notes:**
1. The Faraday cage must be properly grounded for accurate measurements.
2. Always clear the charge measuring device before each measurement.
3. Ensure the object being tested is disconnected from all power sources during the test.
4. Turn on the power switch and allow the machine to warm up for 15 minutes before starting the test.
5. Make sure the lining of the garment is turned inward, and remove any cold weather clothing after testing the inner layers.
6. Place the roller friction machine on a stable surface to prevent noise or instability during operation.
7. Avoid placing sharp objects like pins or coins in the drum to prevent damage to the inner lining.
8. Conduct the test under controlled environmental conditions: temperature (20 ± 5)°C and relative humidity of 40%.
