1. The fuse should be connected in series with the line and installed vertically on each phase line. Fuses are not allowed on the neutral line of two-phase three-wire or three-phase four-wire circuits.

2. The power inlet end of the screw-type fuse should connect to the center point of the base, while the outlet connects to the threaded shell. This ensures proper installation for vibration resistance.

3. For loads exceeding 60A or lighting/electric heating loads (220V) above 100A, a tubular fuse is recommended to ensure safe operation.

4. Control circuit fuses should be installed in the voltage circuit and electrical control circuit of the meter to provide reliable protection.

5. Use qualified lead alloy wire or copper wire for porcelain insert fuses. Never replace a single large fuse with multiple smaller ones.

6. Ensure the fuse is intact and the contacts are tight and secure. Regular maintenance checks should include inspecting for discoloration, deformation, aging, and replacing if necessary.

7. After selecting the fuse, always verify that it can protect the wiring. If the wire cross-section is too small, consider increasing its size accordingly.

8. The copper cap of the drop-out fuse should be clamped at least 3/4 of the way up the contact. The fuse body and melt should be free from damage or cracks.

9. Never arbitrarily increase the thickness of fuses or substitute them with copper or aluminum wires. Always use the correct rated fuse.

10. In new workshops, apartments, and buildings, each household should have a multi-meter system. In addition to the main fuse box at the entrance, each sub-meter must also have its own individual fuse for enhanced safety and control.
