Small Scale Maintenance and Care
1. Weighing Platform Maintenance
(1) Make sure there are no foreign objects like stones or coal in the gaps around the platform of the small scale. These can affect the accuracy and performance of the scale.
(2) Check the limit clearance to ensure it is properly set. The limit Bolt should not come into contact with the scale body, as this may cause damage or incorrect readings.
(3) It's recommended to service the connector every six months. You can also apply a small amount of lubricant to the support head for smoother operation.
(4) Avoid performing arc welding on the weighing platform directly. This can damage the internal components and sensors.
If you must perform arc welding on the weighing platform, follow these important precautions:
1. Disconnect the signal cable from the weighing display controller before starting the welding process.
2. Ensure that the ground wire of the arc welder is placed close to the welding area and firmly connected to the scale body to prevent electrical interference.
3. Never use the sensor as part of the arc welding circuit. This can permanently damage the sensor and compromise the accuracy of the scale.
