Then, go to the function selection column on the screen and select the "Mitsubishi PLC FX1N-14MR-ES/UL" option. From there, choose "PLC Memory Clear". After a new window appears, select all three options available and press "Enter". The screen will show "OK" and "Cancel". Choose "OK" and press "Enter" again. If the screen disappears, it means the PLC has been successfully reset to its factory state, and you can now upload your program again.
2. Using a handheld programmer
When using a handheld programmer, connect it to the Mitsubishi PLC FX1N-14MR-ES/UL. Switch to ONLINE mode and press the GO button. The screen will prompt you for a password. At this point, press the SP button 8 times, followed by pressing the GO button 3 times. This sequence will reset the PLC to its original factory settings. Once done, simply import your original program back into the PLC to resume normal operation.
These steps ensure that the PLC is properly cleared and ready for a fresh program upload. Always make sure you have a backup of your original program before proceeding with any memory clearing operations. This helps prevent data loss and ensures a smooth transition when rewriting the program.
