UL LED Labs will begin offering Zhaga standard testing services in May

Underwriters Laboratories LLC recently said that its UL LED testing laboratory in Nansha, Guangdong, China will begin providing Zhaga standard testing services in May.

It is reported that the laboratory provides local related tests that will include multiple LEDs. Combined with UL's testing capabilities in other regions, UL can also provide enterprises with security testing and integration services based on US, Canadian and IEC standards, thus providing technical support for enterprises to better deploy domestic and overseas markets and follow the pace of industrial development.

Due to the popularity of LED in developed markets such as Europe, America and Japan, the growth rate of LED exports in 2012 will reach 30%. On the other hand, as early as 2015, LED's market share in China's local lighting market will reach 20%, driving the industry scale to 500 billion yuan. Since the Zhaga specification has benefited consumers and professional buyers in the light engine and lighting market, it is necessary for related companies in the LED industry chain to consider it as an important consideration in product design and manufacturing, both in the international market and in the domestic market.

Auto Fuses

A small safety part in an automobile electrical device or piece of machinery that causes it to stop working if the electric current is too high, and so prevents fires or other dangers. Fuse, also known as current fuse, is defined by the IEC127 standard as "fuse-link". It is mainly an overload protection. If the fuse is properly installed in the circuit, the fuse will cut off the current and protect the circuit safe operation when the current abnormal is raised to a certain height and heat. Invented by Edison fuse is used to protect more than one hundred years ago when the expensive incandescent bulbs, along with the development of The Times, the fuse protection power equipment is not trained in current overheat damage, avoid electronic equipment serious damage caused by internal fault. When a circuit breaks down or is abnormal, the current increases with the current and the increased current may damage some important components in the circuit, and it may also burn the circuit and even cause a fire. If correctly placed in the circuit fuse, the fuse will be abnormal current increases to a certain height and heat, its own fuse to cut off the current, so as to protect the safe operation of the circuit.
