Electromechanical joint adjustment notes for CNC machine tools - Solutions - Huaqiang
After the CNC machine is powered on and operating normally, it's essential to pay close attention to the mechanical and electrical system coordination. Here are some key steps to follow:
1. In JOG mode, test the positive and negative movement of each axis to ensure smooth operation. Once confirmed, run a simple program in AUTO mode to check the system response.
2. When testing the main spindle and feed axes, start at a low speed and gradually increase it. This helps identify any potential issues early on.
3. Press the overtravel protection switch to verify that the safety function works correctly. Then perform a slow overtravel test to ensure the installation of the overtravel block is accurate and reliable.
4. After confirming manual operations are correct, proceed with the return-to-reference-point procedure for each axis. Before returning, move the axis away from the reference point to avoid misalignment or incorrect reference detection.
5. During the tool selection test, first adjust the tool number to confirm that the tool change process functions properly. Only after verification should you replace the actual tool.
6. Create your own workpiece machining program, incorporating as many functional and auxiliary commands as possible. Keep the displacement within the machine’s maximum travel range. Modify, add, and delete commands as needed, and finally run the program to ensure the machine operates smoothly and reliably.
