After the CNC machine is powered on and operating correctly, it's essential to focus on the mechanical and electrical system integration. Here are some key steps to follow:

1. In JOG mode, perform positive and negative movements along each axis to ensure proper operation. Once confirmed, test a simple program in AUTO mode to check for any issues.

2. When testing the main spindle and feed axes, start with low speeds and gradually increase to verify stability and performance.

3. Activate the overtravel protection switch to ensure the safety function works as expected. Then conduct a slow overtravel test to confirm that the overtravel block is installed correctly and functions properly.

4. After manual operations are verified, perform a full return-to-zero operation for each axis. Before returning the reference point, move the axis away from the reference point to avoid misalignment or failure to detect the reference.

5. During the tool selection test, first adjust the tool number to check if the tool change process is accurate. Only after confirming everything works, proceed to install the actual cutting tools.

6. Create your own workpiece machining program, incorporating as many functional and auxiliary commands as possible. Keep the movement within the machine's maximum travel range. Practice editing, adding, and modifying the program before running it to ensure the machine operates smoothly and reliably.
