German media: China’s satellite launch has reached 20 historical records this year.

On December 12, the German media said that the official media reported that China launched the first star of the new generation of geostationary orbit meteorological satellites on the 11th, which made the number of China's space launches hit a new record this year, reaching 20 times.

According to a report by Dexin News Agency on December 11, at 0:11 on the 11th, Fengyun-4 satellite was launched at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center by the Long March 3B carrier rocket. Fengyun No. 4 has a launch weight of 5,400 kilograms and is finally positioned in a geosynchronous orbit of 35,786 kilometers.

According to the report, it is China's first geosynchronous orbit triaxial stable quantitative remote sensing satellite, which will observe China and surrounding areas through enhanced imaging and other technologies.

China plans to launch another four space launches in December. In 2012 and 2015, China conducted 19 space launch activities respectively.
